Ever since I migrated to 64-bit Windows, I know of no texture/sprite utility for Descent 1/2 that will run on my system (since as far as I know they're all 16-bit). Could someone with the capability please extract the textures and projectiles sprites from Descent?

Damn Microsoft pulling an Apple on us and yanking backwards compatibility for Win16...

I know it's not the most optimal program, but I recall XWE can open Descent 1 and 2's resources for sprites, textures, and doors.

Only partially, but is extremely buggy and unreliable like everything else with XWE. I still use it (making tons of backups in the process) only because my machine doesn't seem to like Slade or SlumpED.

I am currently ripping the resources with the tool that CeeJay did suggest.
I completed Descent 1 rip, you can download it here: Descent 1 Resources (Edit: Added some missing door textures that the tool messed up a bit, but now it's fixed. I noticed the problem while I was ripping the textures of Descent 2.)

Edit: Here is the resources of Descent 2: Descent 2 Resources (It's missing the Hoard Mode resources "from the HAM file" since DTX2 partially support it and I couldn't really get it to load.)

DTX is the Win16 program that I used to use, but it doesn't work in 64-bit Windows.

Oh my god yes please. I was asking for sounds of Descent 3, because my CD's broken, and I lost all of the files (no steam... ). If you can please, I need sounds from that game please.
