[Request]Diseased-looking Heretic Gargoyle
I had an interesting idea for a new monster a little while ago. A green, diseased-looking gargoyle (inspired by SC2's Baneling, of course ) that kamikazes as an attack. However, I could only do a simple recolor that wouldn't really do this monster justice.
So, would anyone like to try to make a more interesting sprite edit to go with it. Something bloated and diseased would look awesome!

Alright, in that case, could you try to make a quick test sprite? If you can't do a pale-green recolor, I can do that for you, first.

That recolor's great, yeah, but it doesn't have that "something's not right" look to it.

Not sure how you'd get a "glassy" look in 1-pixel-large eyes... Perhaps you could also make its jaw hang open and drool or froth?
Also, the more it looks like it could explode any moment, the better.

Double-post so people actually see this:
Copy/pasted some stuff from the Pod. I think it looks pretty good, but I don't have the talent to keep consistency between frames. I'm also thinking of edited death animations. When it dies, it falls to the ground like normal, but explodes when it hits the ground and XDeath explodes immediately, however, I don't simply want to slap explosion sprites on the existing death sprites.
Edit: Finished up the recolor (Easy, since it wouldn't use an actual attack animation), but I might need someone else to do the copy/paste from the Gas Pod for the disease-ish parts, and I certainly need someone else to do the death.

^Keeping in theme with the pod bits, why not have it make the pod explosion while spewing [wiki=Classes:PodGoo]pod goo[/wiki] everywhere?
edit: Maybe even make the pod goo bits have smaller explosions themselves, for a cluster bomb effect.
Obviously if you did that, you'd have to make the goo spray faster and farther than the normal pod does, and in greater numbers.
