I'm looking for player sprites that suit a "survival" style. Something that fits Dayz pretty much.
Anyone have an idea where to find some?

You mean, like people with modern weapons in civilian outdoor attire, maybe a little bit ragged?

Both are very common vehicles are available as free 3D models or can be ripped from games such as the old Call of Duty.

Any idea where I can find these free models, my google gives me nothing but "buy this buy that" crap. I ain't gonna pay 60 bucks for a model.

Here is a modern German truck that looks similar to the second one you posted, sans the added windows. Most modern armed forced have trucks like this in their inventories.

Cool, but the free ones you posted have american insignia and last is a modern truck. I'm looking for WWII era German/Wehrmacht vehicles. A truck... And a plane.

Sooo.. Either recolor the texture and add the Balkenkreuz, or search for a Opel Blitz and Stuka model? Without having searched for these I can say that the probability of there being free models is very high if you spend some time searching.

I remember a while back someone posted a set of spites with a doom-proportioned figure (can't remember if it was based on the player or some other Doom humanoid) wearing a yellow hazmat suit and gas mask. Can anyone fix me up with those? I can't find them.

I can't see anything to indicate that the sprites were ever completed with the gas-mask look (like in the first couple of links) but I'm sure I've seen a full set. Maybe I imagined it.
