If you can include a wad demonstrating the problem, please do so. Bug reports that include fully-constructed demos have a much better chance of being investigated in a timely manner than those that don't.

I apologize in advance that I don't have a more simplified mapset to give you. :( I am not much of a mapper, myself.

After several swaps between softpoly and the normal software renderer, the crash occurred.

I have no idea why PartnerSeg would suddenly be an invalid pointer. Maybe that is the bug in itself, or maybe some check must be performed first before accessing PartnerSeg.
