Use netbook screen as video outut

I have stationary PC that lack monitor. Cant buy new one due to one, currently, world famous situation.
Also I have a netbook, which is good only for browsing internet.
I still can access my PC and do something with/on it using TV as a monitor, but its not comfortable both to work and use it as an actual monitor (keyboard wire are too short, there are no suitable surface for a mouse on a sofa/near TV, sitting too close to TV feels waaaaaaay to uncomfortable to even think about it, pixels are too big, etc).

Is there are a way to use netbook as a 'monitor' for a PC? What I mean is, ability to launch something on a PC and send video output, aka full desktop image, to a netbooks screen. Like via WiFi or some kind of "netbook HDMI as a receiver" hack?
I only managed to get it work as an FTP server for now. Plugging HDMI in both PC and netbook and messing with nvidia control panel on PC (one HDMI slot for TV second for netbook) didnt bring anything.
I cares only about video signal, if thats not clear.

I think the easiest option is to set up a remote desktop connection.

Usually remote desktop software isn't designed for full motion, although it might work. Certainly the way to go for productivity.

If the netbook can manage to decode Steam's in home streaming that may be the more suitable option if you want to send games.

A friend of mine introduced me to Parsec which works exceptionally well for Windows.

If you ever need a cross-platform solution NoMachine is also fairly decent. It also comes with file/drive/USB device transport as well, if you need it.

Both can play games, but Parsec handles gaming way better than NoMachine does, but even NoMachine does a decent job with it too. I have used both, they are very handy for interacting with Hyper-V Windows instances where the GPU might be forwarded but cannot properly handle mouse capture and audio.

Tried all programs in this topic, but for some reason every single one of them are putting noticeable stress on my wifi network. Like, internet connection speed of computer, and all attached to same network devices, was dropping down to something around 100 kb/sec on wifi each time I used remote desktop program.

It was so unbearable that I picked from one of my friend old, bulky CRT VGA monitor with glorious 1024x768 resolution. So im in retro-future now. GTX is not happy by that.
