Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Certain Colors Bleeding Into Others?

Post by Figgy McSquiggins »

It's my dumbass back again with more dumb questions! So when i'm looking around in doom, certain colors seem to lag behind for the shortest time. For example, if i'm looking left and right at a caco's corpse, the red on the edge of seems to leave the tiniest trail, a shadow of sorts, that blends with the color that should be there, sometimes leaving a solid black trail, a silhouette of sorts. Is this my monitor? I haven't noticed this in other games. I recorded it via my phone in slow motion to make sure my eyes weren't messing with me, and it's there.

Yes, it's your monitor. This is an effect that was particularly strong on those plasma TVs from 15 years ago but is not isolated to them.

Man, is there a possible solution I can do in gzdoom? It’s only in doom that I see this.
