Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!
If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.
We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Binding xbox controller in gzdoom for mac
I'm trying to play some brutal doom with a controller. I have my xbox one s controller paired with no issues, and when I enter into the controller settings within gzdoom, I can bind the axis on the two joysticks with no problem. However, there are no other button bind options within that menu, and when enter the normal binding menu, I cannot press buttons on the controller as if I were binding a keyboard button. Any troubleshooting advice?
Re: Binding xbox controller in gzdoom for mac
Do you have Enable Controller Support in Joystick menu set to Yes? Because even with set to No some controller related code is still functional.
This is true for device connection/disconnection at least. Button presses are certainly disabled, I'm not sure about axes.
Sorry, having zero interest in controller support I could left some issues unfixed.
