Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

3.5.0 - My Experience

Post by SPZ1 »

My experience is as follows:

3.5.0 (64-bit) (Modern) - Tried with both Doom 2 and Hexen : Both took over 3 minutes to load so I exited the program (with a menu that Windows displays over the hanging program)

3.5.0 (32-bit) (Vintage) - Both Doom 2 and Hexen load after approx. 30 - 45 seconds and seem to work correctly :-?

That is a very long time to load in both cases. Doom and Doom II take no more than three seconds to load for me in 3.5.0.

For me it loads 5-10 seconds depending on what gets autoloaded. Even 30-45 seconds is way too much.
I second WildWeasel: What's your hardware specs? And what are you autoloading?
