Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Only some vannila sounds and no music!

Post by XASSASSINX »

Recently i have experinc a bug with GZDOOM that it didn' t open. It would just crash after finishing loading. So i thought it was some problem on the files, and after deleting and recovering some files, i discovered it was that file libsnythy (or something like that) but after deleting that GZDOOM has no music AND most without custom sounds from mods. also some vannilia sounds don't appear. What should i do?

Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit?

Sounds like libsndfile.dll is missing.

So... I just extract GZDOOM or another bin and paste the sounds file on the other? Well that file i talked about (libsytnh) causes my GZDOOM to crash. But not why try?

EDIT: Wep, just crashed my GZDOOM.

Okay, uh, can you show us a screenshot of the files in your GZDoom folder, that one included?

Er, the reason I asked if 32/64 is because I was going to just provide replacement files. I am guessing it is the Windows Explorer bug, again.

@ OP: Try redownloading the archive. I recompressed it remotely.

if i try to click the glitched window, that "not respoding" error pops up.

Are you sure you extracted them to the same/proper place?
