This is test mod, based on DHTP textures pack.
Materials, and relight classic E1M1, E1M2 maps.

I recommend using GZDooM v4.3.3.
I don't know why, but brightmaps don't work on the port v4.5.0. :cry:

DHTP Alterations is a Doomsday-engine compatible pack. Support code for that particular way of defining hires textures has been dropped in GZDoom since version 4.4.

DHTP Alterations is a Doomsday-engine compatible pack. Support code for that particular way of defining hires textures has been dropped in GZDoom since version 4.4.

They didn't, that was a fake C&D. The author pulled this stunt when people found out they were a blatant asset thief, and had put whole mods in Doom Remake 4.

Haha then it's settled!
I actually heard of that mod back in the day and the "controversy" surrounding it. Thought it was a little suspicious at the time, but I suppose it makes sense that said drama was manufactured. Either way, I have no doubt your version of materials are going to be vastly improved.

So, few things I noticed, while using both the main files with the optional files, the button that should open the hidden door on the first level is 'malfunctioned' according to the text I got, for whatever reason.

There are quick white flashes while doing things like shooting, running and opening a door, that while didn't stop me from playing, it's annoying to deal with not to mention people could have problems with it.

overall looks good tho

This might be a stupid question, but how do you use the optional shaders and textures? The main file dhtp is a .pk3 file so you drag and drop. If I want to use the optional files what do I do?
