Low-Res DooM
Low res The Ultimate Doom textures for gzdoom
Low-Res DooM alpha 0.0.1
Knee-Deep in the Dead--98%
The Shores of Hell------84%
Inferno----------------79%
Thy Flesh Consumed----86%
I recommend to use with Low-Res DooM :
1. Voxel models:
Voxel Chibi Doom!
2. Sound:
PC Speaker simulation
3. Music:
8-bit music
or
DooM Sega 32X (only Knee-Deep in the Dead)
or
Chiptune by Shiryu (only Knee-Deep in the Dead)
4.HUD:
Low-Res HUD by Wiw and Gollgagh
gzdoom.exe -iwad doom.wad -file voxelchibi_v3.pk3 NESDoom1.wad pcspksim.wad Low-Res HUD.pk3 LowRes.pk3
And disable ALL graphic effects (texture filtering, dynamic light etc)

So I get that this replaces textures, but what other things does it do? Does it replace weapon sprites? Does it work for Doom 2 or is this purely for Doom?

Cool video. The massice amounts of blood don't fit the style in my opinion but it does give nice hit feedback.

Yeah, it looks like a low-res Brutal Doom.
This is not a bad thing, but looks quite different from 'just doom in low res'.

^Indeed! I hope we will see the rest of the textures converted sometime. I can imagine it being a lot of work having to do everything from scratch...
