I love how that looks, but haven't we see enough of this "High resolution textures" stuff? I'm more into the high-res sprites because nobody succeeded on that at all and you did a great job.

i think he is working on the high resolution textures, AND sprites. since he showed the progress of an imp, and because he is busy for making those textures.

so no worries, i'm really sure this thread will be not dead sooner or later.

You're right, I'm too busy with textures and don't have much time for sprites. Here is new skull switch (Doom have very characteristic skulls, but that on textures from official hires pack looks nothing like Doom, so I decide to make my own):

The one above. The new one posted looks too clean, almost like a model skull. When I imagined the skulls in DOOM, I imagined them being rough and with stains. The one above better represents that.

the one above, it looks dark, realistic and well shaded then new one. i think it's fine what it is.
