Whoever guesses the EXACT source of the song used in the TITLEPIC, gets the REAL non-AF update. I am not joking this time, I actually have it ready2go.

0.3.1 - NHF Edition

So far these are the monsters with new colors

-Revenant
-Pain Elemental
-Hell Knight
-Mancubus

I might add that these are merely for placeholder purposes, but there's a chance the final versions may retain the exact colors that these foes have. The concept for the Lost Soul has been decided, but until some stuff gets sorted out I can't go further on creating his spritesheet. Same with the Mancubus since they're going to receive a new set of flamethrowers.

Changelog

-Modification to Imp's sprites (chest taken from Eriance's Vulgar)
-Fixed death sprites for:
--*Devourer
--*MechDevourer (Pinky replacement)
-The sprites-only version should be back.


Not much progress has been done since April, that's a fact. Things are going to change from now on, and that's another fact. IRL stuff kept me from working on this (and for the past three months I was completely away from any computer to work with this).

A concept overhaul is definitively going to happen with this, check the new OP. Basically it comes down to this project's existance becoming something more than a "gameplay mod". Since its conception it never was a gameplay mod per se, anyway; all I want is to reintroduce the many features of this project and its goal to provide a set of alternative graphics for the community to use.

The concept for the Baron of Hell has finally landed, and its development should start shortly. Oh, and happy new year!

I really like the demons. the eyeless, mouth-only look reminds me of the monsters from Quake. The rest of the color scheme reminds me of it somewhat too, actually.

Well, if they know about a monster redesign and want me to notice it, all they need to do is to post it here. Then I'll consider doing it in Doom style and either include it here or just release it standalone, I dunno.
