you just have to load them with zdoom or gzdoom (make sure you're using the latest version) in the correct order like I posted, no further settings are necessary.
It's possible via console command but I'd recommend a launcher tool like ZDL.
anyways a basic batch file command would look like this:

zdoom.exe -iwad doom2.wad -file 2xBRh.pk3

seems like you're doing something wrong with loading the files. you would already see the difference at the pistol.
you sure the file is there where you stated it in the command line? please try it with a tool like ZDL.

I've decided to cut the idea of having smoother animations or 3x the item size; they were distracting me from actually getting any work done on the project and would've had there be too much more work for me to after all. (Sorry if this is all I have to say in this bump, but I figure that I should just set the record straight)

Why "mostly"? It was a pack made by me. Solely.

I thought other people joined it later, but maybe I got it confused with something else.

Is this project dead? If so, why do all the HD sprite projects go dead? Seriously, they are really cool looking and we really need a nice HD sprite pack that is actually complete.

I hope it comes back, because this would be really cool. Maybe if the author is reading this, it can help to give him some motivation.

They go dead because its really tedious, and that feeling of ambition turns into a feeling of doing a chore. Nevertheless, that's bound to happen, unless you continue the resist the urge to stop production.

You're not wrong, the reality is just that some retards very nice people decided to tie up some loose ends in Doomjedi's otherwise excellent pack.

Well, don't know who joined what, the pack that can still be downloaded from Skulltag website is all about my art. Made about 8-9 years ago. Ages it seems.
I've noticed recently 2 of those sprites were used in recent "Doom II Starter Pack" for Brutal Doom. What an honour.

I've just the other day improved the tall torch from the pack and PMed it to Sergeant Mark. Hope he'll use it in the next version :) With all the honour to see my art used in Brutal Doom pack, I just couldn't see art I know I can now do better - I'm such a perfectionist :) And it was rewarding to see I indeed got better over last 9 years. Old DoomJedi vs. new one.

Regading keep making more such depixellizations...I just don't have as much time to make art as I had back then when I was...out of life with all free time to myself. Can't get back to those days.
And I've moved to Wolf3D modding since, and so I prefer making my own Wolf3D mods rather than depixelling Doom stuff. Especially as there are so many more capable Spriters nowdays in Doom community...much more than it was back in the old days...I'm much less needed and I'm nowdays far from being a top spriter - I follow Spriters thread almost daily and know where I stand relative to best spriters here, so have no illusions of self greatness.

Hi, I haven't forgotten about this project, but I've been busy with moving and some other projects at the moment, so I haven't gotten back to this yet. I have a barely started radiation suit in the works though, which I'm sure will take some time to do. At the moment my tablet is packed away though, so it will be some time before I can get back to this.

This project looks AMAZING and should 100% be made part of brutal doom!! Your sprites should be the standard for all onward!
