The vweps mod doesn't seem to work for this presently. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what.

My load order was the skins then the vanilla vweps patch.

how about a pulse rifle marine as a suggestion, and also updated with the 6,7,8 full rotations?

Does this mod have an option to switch skins in-game to fit the corresponding weapons, or is it just a skin pack? If the latter is the case, where can I find a mod that does that?

I believe there's such a mod, it might be floating around on the Zandronum forum somewhere. (ZDoom itself lacks a proper feature for doing this, though.)

Edit: Oh right. Download vwep.zip from the first post. That's what I was thinking of.

Okay, I'm aware that It's only in Skulltag/Zandronum but that's not what I'm asking.

What I'm asking is Can i recreate the effect in an ACS script for use in mods?

Short answer: Sort of.

Long answer: It's certainly possible, but it would be extremely complicated. (And prone to breaking in weird ways. Player animations in particular are really touchy.)

this is the answer i was looking for but since its such a sensitive form of scripting its probably best left unattempted so more or less its a NO
