Sheesh. Thanks for the help, doomero. I'm mostly used to using ZDL, so while it makes things easy to manage it means I don't know much about the other ways to install some mods. I don't want to get too off-topic from the original mod here, but is this the current version of Doomero's one? viewtopic.php?f=19&t=25385 In some ways I prefer the 2D versions of Doom 3 stuff, since the 3D stuff is well-done but can look a bit out of place.

dude try with the skins foldier, that is the easy way and also the patch 4.8 is not the last version:

if you want to play the patch 4.9 with the easy method, just put ultimatesd3mod.wad and the patch 4.9 (code6.wad) into your skins foldier, later execute zdoom, gzdoom, skulltag or zandronum, anyway you need a iwad (doom, doom2, etc) later click to the green marine of zdoom or gzdoom for play my mod.

Having to put things in the skins folder seems like a really bad way to go about loading any mod. Is there some reason that it is done that way?
