I can also make it a multi part weapon:

part1: Plasmagun
part2: Railgun short range
part3: railgun with Scope

I tried to stay as close as possible to chasm textures.

Change from Plasmagun to railgun (animation needs some tweaking):

Hiya, making an announcement:

I'm stepping down from handling this mod as right now I can't keep up with it. It certainly started small but grew into something pretty awesome and unexpected, I wound up getting rather overwhelmed XD. HAL9000 has been doing great work on the mod and he's shown interest in keeping ZRift going, so I'm handing it off to him.

Myself, I'm working on a 'classic' version of ZRift that's more my speed; a version that stays as close as possible to base Chasm. HAL9000 will finish up this current 'Legacy' version before working on a deeper expansion of ZRift.

Formally requesting this thread be archived as it has served it's purpose and so that HAL9000 can create his own.

Hi everyone this has been awesome journey.
I'm really satisfied what Pandut and I made here.

This current version will be renamed to Zrift Legacy and it will be maintained by me (bugfixes and new 0.6 updates will be released soon), while Pandut will work on a Classic more faithful version of Chasm the rift
Don't worry all those new models, animations I showcased will make into the mod but not into the current Legacy Edition.
All new content models, monsters, animations, will be released in Zrift Beyond Edition, not in the Legacy one.

You will find all archived versions of Legacy Edition and new updates and bugfixes on my new thread, together with Zrift Beyond content.

So we will probably now end up with 3 versions now:

Classic - Vanilla Faithful
Legacy - Current Zrift version
Beyond - Expanded Zrift version (This will still stay faithful to the Legacy Ed. only expanding it with new content.)

I would also like to ask Tribalquake to help me to tweak/balance/playtest the future versions of Legacy edition if he is interested.
I've noticed he posted a lot of gameplay on the Youtube promoting this mod, and created some tweaks(Pan-ZRift v0.5h).
