[Abandoning]Vanilla as Fuck:Final edit

Im running into an error when starting up
Doom 2 wad

"Script error, "VaF_v5.pk3:weapons" line 31:
Sprite names must be exactly 4 characters"

i use GZDooM 1.8 (2014-12-27)

update on main post with the latest file.

added a few weapon patches
added a new animations for shotgun and supershotgun
added a new 1 weapon per slot *thanks wildweasel*
added new firing frames for the chaingun
removed the hanging bodies
added keen
added SMG but its a secret

Just tried to play Ultimate Doom and It did not work script error keen sprite rotation.

Another thing I noticed is the choice to make it to were I can't carry both the ssg/betassg and the pump shotgun. Was that intentional?

I don't know If forcing the player to drop the pump shotgun for the ssg will work, Granted the pump gun Is much better now. I'm not sure how I feel about that, I'll get back to you later.

So I've decided to scrap Vanilla as Fuck's current build and restart over.

I do plan on using the some or all of the assets *graphics/sprites and HUD* from the past builds.

Yes the weapon limit will be staying but I plan on adding more weapons from doom's alpha and maybe some of skulltag's weapons.

When I shoot pistol it shows a little smoke cloud up the gun, smoke seems to spawn depending on the player height but when player crouches, smoke spawns too high because the code didn't know about the height change. Also casings spawn too high when the player crouches. Probably other bits of code should also consider crouching player state :)

That HUD, and items' rotations... They're all looks majestic and Vanilla as Fuck! Seriously.

Anyway i have been thinking, is it possible to give the rotations to powerup orbs as well? Like Soulsphere.

Man, that's a really great mod! No bling-bling or over-the-top crap.

I also noticed that you have some jump player sprites, both in normal and pain states...

I'll re-add the monsters later after the weapons have been more fine tuned.
