Perhaps it's best not to show the status bar in splitscreen mode.Rachael wrote:Both status bars are still attached to the same global system.
That actually might be good for a 4-player splitscreen game in my opinion.drfrag wrote:Perhaps it's best not to show the status bar in splitscreen mode.
Perhaps it doesn't work with ZDoom (yet), but having 4 player split screen with the status bar can be done with other versions:cmw1986 wrote:That actually might be good for a 4-player splitscreen game in my opinion.drfrag wrote:Perhaps it's best not to show the status bar in splitscreen mode.
My thoughts exactly. I did what I got done to learn the systems needed, and that should make it a lot easier for my next attempt at it. As I clearly said in my distribution post, this is not done and will require an extensive rewrite - not only of itself, but of the underlying systems that it depends on.Graf Zahl wrote:Right now the entire branch is extremely experimental and most of it will very likely not end up in the final product before seeing some major rework.
If you think I can handle something that will help you out, please point me in a direction you want me to start working.Graf Zahl wrote:And furthermore, as nice as this all is, I think the first priorities now should be to finish ongoing construction
If nothing else, though, it has proven to be a nice coding diversion. It will be impossible to maintain this past the 2.4 release when the fundamental systems do start getting reworked, and inevitably the affected parts will have to be done from scratch.Rachael wrote:
