doom-multi-core--redone-source-port engine

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

so a delusional batch lamer kiddie then?

I remember getting condescended and berated by one author of a 'pc museum emulator' that was just batch files wrapped around an older PC emulator someone else made and copyrighted software with a pretentious mame-wannabe presentation with echo commands. fun stuff...and that was just last month.

Batch delusion not a new thing either - remember the "Mario! we're different because we use a ! in our title nintendo cant get us" shareware game that was conning people over a batch+repack of someone elses' freeware 64kb leaked beta techdemo? (note: this is not Dave Sharpless' Mario VGA)

First time I'm hearing of this, actually. Batch delusion is also new to me, but I have a feeling I know what it means.

(Note: To the moderators afraid of heavy derailment - I don't believe this can get any more derailed than it currently is. I don't wanna be entering a conflict, though, so notify me if things start to get out of hand.)

Just for curiosity : how can you call the videos you posted on moddb "benchmarks" without showing some "task manager"-like software which shows before and after using your source port showing the different use of cpus cores / optimization ? Just a observation...

I detect an imminent thread closure due to boss-tier spamming, so, before that happens, I wanna say that I saw the guy's youtube channel and for some reason I can't seem to match his vocal explanations with the text ones here. It's like another person made this thread. I'm more worried about the author than the content he posts. He does seem serious, though seeing the majority of his vids are somewhat nutty, like the mortal kombat fly one, I'd say this could all be a big and late April Fools Day thread.

EDIT: I'll gladly maintain a Post Hell forum.

This is totally nonsense.
I hope this will be closed, this forum doesn't need such kind of badly crafted bullshits.
No pun intended eh, maybe it's just me.

If you're curious, here's a sample of the "code" that Maes posted in the Doomworld Post Hell thread.

there are more comments then actual lines of code (dud, you have a problem here).
Also, that's not even C++ (unless all that trash is commented, then it could be a source code with 0 lines that could be compiled
K, going to another thread

Looking at the code Kinsie reposted, do you think it's real?
