The new version's almost done (for test 4 support) and it's actually in testing right now as I speak (find the zandronum server).

So I finally got around trying Chex with this mod and it's downright awesome!
Now the enemies can be gibbed but still teleports away when shot with lesser weapons, and they still bleeds red when shot :( Oh well, perhaps version 5 fixes this :mrgreen:

Exaggerated, really.
A gunshot makes a zombie cover floor and ceiling with large splatters of blood, this looks funny.
I think when you create a blood mod it is good to make it at least kind of realistic, but this is ridiculous.
At one point I gibbed a Nazi with a pistol bullet. That was really weird, cuz I thought UAC uses .9 ammo and not .75 for pistols.

The effect itself is great, but the amount... I think the amount of blood from a gunshot in this mod suits XDeath better.

Also there is a bug with dripping blood: when the ceiling above the moving floor is covered with blood and it drips down, floor splash has high chance of staying in midair during the platform's movement downwards.

i think this is the important reason of this wad's ludicrous blood splats. just like a brutal doom. wait, brutal doom does have a lot's of blood splat too.

also about dripping bloods from ceiling, i thought it was fine with latest zdoom. unless it was had bit flickering movements.

Hey Blackfish, the Cacodemon in the samsara version bleeds both blue AND green.

I'm interested in when Test 5 will come so I can use this with Russian Overkill and see the hell nobles and cacodemon bleed their proper color :)

You can do that right now, it just requires some editing.

There's dummied out cacodemon blood code in the wad, all you have to do is get the caco to use it and recolor some bloodspots, then add that into the MODELDEF.
For the baron I just switched all instances of red blood to chex blood ( :lol: ).

ooh brother, did you do 'em all by yourself? nice work! if least you can share with brutal addon, different kind demon's blood problem's will goes away!
