This mod will be used for the GZDOOM engine. It will have dynamic lights, Bloom, Brightmaps and 3D models.
This mod will feature fresh content such as BGM/SFX, textures, sprites and voice acting.
It will be single player only, but will MAYBE feature a death match arena.
STORY / CHARACTERS BIOS / MISCELLANEOUS

STORY
5 prophets hell bent on global domination form a dark occult to bring about their evil gods to do there biding. 1 of the prophets Victor rebels against the clan, he knows that the gods will not grant their wishes and would just destroy them all. So he is forced to run and hide while the occult pursue him. Hidden in a abandoned mine. Victor finds a glyph that speaks to him and would promise him safety. It is then that Victor is possessed with powers of a dark god and would go about his revenge towards the occult.
CHARACTERS St.Victor: A ex prophet of the occult, victor was banished for treason against the clan. Chased out from the order victor found refuge in a abandoned mine. There a strange glyph was discovered, from it emerged a great demon and a packed was formed between victor and the demon lord. The demon promised in exchange for victors flesh, he would keep him alive and help seek his vengeance against the occult.
Demon: A powerful demented demon hell bent on destruction, imprisoned in a stone glyph that was purposely hidden from the teachings of the order for his unpredictability and destructive nature. When victor discovers the glyph, the demon proposes a deal that would set him free.
Possest Victor: With victor no longer in control of his mind and body, the demon must now follow his end of the deal and defeat all the cult prophets an bring the order to a end.
St.Victoria: 1 of the 4 occult prophets and a close friend of victor, Victoria is a young and intelligent women that takes comfort in helping her fellow brethrens. When victor is falsely accused of treason, Victoria is forced and persuaded by the other prophets to take action against him.
St.Vergil: 1 of the 4 occult prophets and a enemy to victor. Vergil has self control issues and sometimes his anger clouds his better judgment. Vergil is easily frustrated by victors attitude and wants nothing but victors banishment from the clan. when victor is excused of treason, Vergil takes this opportunity to hunt down victor for his own amusement.
St.Valentine: 1 of the 4 occult prophets and a enemy to victor. valentine is a calm and open minded man. his relationship towards the other prophets remain unknown since he keeps to himself a lot. He believes victor is innocent, but ordered by Vincent and for the sake of the order his only objective is to hunt down victor.
St.Vincent: 1 of 4 occult prophets and the spokes man for the order. Vincent's plan is to take control over the world by gaining access to powers granted by demonic forces. Victor is aware of the demons lies and orders a meeting of the prophets. it is then that Vincent strips victor of his rank and orders for his immediate execution. With victor possest, Vincent is forced to summon into himself and the other prophets the dark lords that promised them there global domination.
FAITH
Faith is rewarded when monsters are killed, secrets are found or when missions are completed. Faith is the games currency for purchasing demonic spells, perks and weapon upgrades. These can be purchased from unique markers that are hidden throughout the game.
ANCIENT MARKERS
These markers are only accessed in the demon realm via hidden gates that are placed throughout the game. They will transport Victor to a secret place in the game where you can purchase new spells for your spell book. Weapon upgrades that increase speed and power. Items to temporarily boost your abilities and more.

I'd suggest dropping the all-caps in the title and fixing some spelling mistakes (Possessed, Virgil, Valentine...).

It's great to finally see an official presentation of this mod on the forums!
I have been a fan and player of the original ZDOOM version - mostly excellent BTW. I am definitely eager to see what will you create with this version. Good job, and good luck!

Firstly 'possest' is a old english spelling... it was intended that way so dont correct me on that -_-
and yes the names are spelt incorrectly and will change those now thank you

A "Let's play" is the only thing I could find, as you seem to have closed your channel.
But that in the video looks promising enough already, as well as the models you posted. Looking forward to seeing more.

Yes indeed, thats the one. im basicaly remaking the game with fresh content rather than using some recycled sprites

Nice to see this isn't death, I already played this and Classic Rivalry, the only thing that bother me is the lack of brightness on projectiles and special effects, will it be fixed in the next release?

Yes, in this reboot il be using the GL_BLOOM effects (which the user will have a choice of removing). Brightmaps to give a further detailed look to explosions and weapon fire. And dynamic lighting which i will apply to fire and explosions ect

Looks nice... never played the original, whole thing looks kinda like Blood, if it were something you wouldn't be embarrassed to be caught playing as an adult. ::crucified::
(And I've apparently learned a new word... now to unlearn the pronunciation in my head, which is as though the word meant "more poss than all others".)
Also, I really wish the Let's Play'er would like not speak in that video or something. x_x

Though, can you explain to me why a mummy fits in the whole dark non-desert world?
To me it kinda seems out of place, but that's my oppinion.

Thanks buddy, when entering in the 'cemetery of the dead', youl notice that many coffins are scattered around the tomb. The dead mummified bodies (previous occult leaders and prophets) are reserved for ressurection when the occult bring forth there god. They are also set to protect the tomb from intruders. But due to St.victor (The Protagonist) interfiering with there plans they awaken half dead to stop you. Sometihng like that
