Well, not quite. Now it cannot open multiple attached resource files. Editor runs processor up to 100%, builder freezes and then crashes without any error message. So I'm sticking to v2750.

You can "fix" this "bug" by updating your copy of (G)ZDoom.Overwatch-C-17 wrote:I think this is a little bug that need to be fixed.
Can you provide said resources for testing?ramon.dexter wrote:Now it cannot open multiple attached resource files.

Yeah, once I get back from work, I will upload them somewhere and paste a link.
Re: GZDoom Builder 2.3
It seems I have kind of the same problem since the latest version. Some files cannot be opened by the editor while some can without problems.
As an example, I tried this :
- Open a new map in Hexen format (with Temple of the Lizard Men 2 (lmtmpl2.pk3) and DOOM2.wad in ressources) and it froze. (processor used : around 30%, whilst memory used went to almost 100% (>2GB used by builder.exe...)) Note that the editor didn't crash at all, it simply froze for an unknown huge amount of time. I had to manually stop the process.

Works for me™ when using the following stepsSandro wrote:As an example, I tried this :

- unzip lmtmpl2.zip
unzip lmtmpl2.pk3
and add these as resources
- lmt2ptch.WAD
lmtmpl2.pk3
Spoiler:then open MAP01
the map is in BOOM format not Hexen format

Re: GZDoom Builder 2.3
I didn't said I loaded the wad, I said I marked it as a resource along with doom2, then opened a new map in hexen format.
(I didn't bothered which format the mod's using, I was only interested to see if the bug would still come in Hexen/UDMF, as I am not able to reproduce the freeze bug with the Doom/Boom format)
What other information can I provide to help find out what's going on ? Everything went fine until the latest version (or few ones, since I jumped directly from r2750 to r2754).

No information is needed. I'm already fixing the issue.

Gee, now it's perfect again ; thank you !
Re: GZDoom Builder 2.3
Window focus randomly resets to GZDB when switching to Script Editor (or clicking on it).
This is very noticeable when alttabbing to separate (non-always-on-top) Script Editor window from main one.
This reliably reproduces when you press alt-tab really quickly to alternate between GZDB and Script Editor.
Win7 x64, compositing disabled, Windows Classic.

Thank you for making this awesome editor. I have been having a great time making my own levels.

Re: GZDoom Builder 2.3
Is it possible to make vertex height gradient?
eg. if you select 3+ sectors with at least one with different height you can use that button to make the other sectors floor/ceiling height gradient. Something similar would be handy with vertex height as well.
