How did you install GZDB2 on the 'another' computer?

If you simply installed GZDB2 without having installed one of the full Doombuilder2 versions previously,
then you will be missing one or maybe both of the two important apps needed:

SlimDX and/or .NET Framework.

This may be helpful

Just curious, but do you plan to extend support for TEXTURES - say, to include color translations within patches?

It suports shader model 5.0, I'm not sure if that means it's backward compatible.

That was my first idea, I tried re-installing both and restarting, it didn't seem to have an effect.

Hmm... found similar problem here (Magica throwing error with similar Exception Code and Exception Offset, which basically means the same error). And it was solved by installing .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (XNA is also mentioned there, but it's not used in GZDB).

If you are absolutely sure that you have .NET Framework 3.5 installed, check that it is enabled in Control Panel -> Programs and Components -> Windows Features

Well, yes, I think it will be nice feature, not sure though when I'll actually look into it.
My current "new features plan" is something like this:
- add (Z)MAPINFO and GLDEFS parsers (done, need more testing).
- render dynamic lights defined in GLDEFS (working on it now).
- change doom-style walls shading to look more Doom-ish (not started).
- use settings from (Z)MAPINFO in Visual modes (Fade, OutsideFog, VertWallShade HorizWallShade, SmoothLighting, EvenLighting parameters) (not started).
- add PCX image format support (seen a lot of models with textures in this format) (not started).
- new plugin to easily edit texture parameters in Visual Mode (things like texture offset, rotation, scale, surface shading and so on) (not started).
- sky rendering.
- sector light animation.

I'm working on it. By the way, does VisplaneExplorer plugin work for any of you? (Doom Builder 2 and GZDoom Builder just closes without any error if I press "Visplane Explorer" button. And I've already found a bug in it, which chashes the editor (open Preferences window, then close it when no map is loaded -> CRASH) ). And I can't check if that's a compilation bug on my side or not, because release version of Doom Builder 2 doesn't contain this plugin.

I noticed that GzDoomBuilder crashes when I try to undo something in visual mode that I did in the linedef editor. This doesn't happen in Doom Builder 2.1.0.0.

For example, if I drew a sector, then go into visual mode and hit undo, it crashes.

Just something I noticed while trying to set different background colours for the script editor from F5 Appearance:

the colour chosen is different from the colour showing up.

Yes, it does work, but only for vanilla DOOM/DOOM2 maps. It crashes DB2 when I try to run it for a G/ZDOOM map.

First of all, congratulations for this beatiful editor... Finally you solved my problems with 3d sectors and slopes... But i need you for the main thing that i must use... Models... They are not shown, even if they're in md3... I tried all, but tell me please... Why they don't show up? D:

Err... I didn't write GZDoom Editing plugin, so it's actually CodeImp to thank for slopes and 3d-floors support in Doom Builder. And now to the problems:
1. Have you added resource with models to map's resources (F2)?
2. If you did, check Warnings and Errors window (F11). Any errors occured during models loading will be shown there.
3. Do models show up in GZDoom?

You are doing a great job on this one! BTW, when do you think will you be able to add fade support from the UDMF sector settings?
