Er, who says I'm taking it seriously?

I'm an aspiring writer. I shit out walls of text every day--the only question is finding a good catalyst. :p

Vertigo wrote:Why are people taking this wad seriously? Seeing the big writeup by TerminusEst13 and the list by TheAdamantArchvile makes me cringe. This wad reeks of joke/troll, I mean just the line "You get to choose from 90 different difficulties and player classes" to me shows that it's not serious. Also banning people for making shitty mods is ridiculous. I know it won't actually happen but still, the idea behind it is pretty terrible.

edit: I just watched the "Released Trailer with some varied gameplay footage." How could you ever think this is a serious wad? It's like if someone made a wad with all monsters replaced with MS Paint dicks and people started saying "Terrible sprites - don't fit in with the Doom textures, animations are choppy" etc.

Yeah at least you aren't taking this seriously like some people but yeah it's not meant to be serious at all. I do however like WildWeasel's idea of just starting over since there isn't a way to improve this that will please the Doom community. No what I will probably do is go back to finishing up a map of my house doing the best I can with that and see where that goes. There's always Descent Insanity I could start up again but that's not even for Doom. What I feel like doing right now is other things like making Youtube videos again since I miss making them when I was so busy getting this project done in time by the Thanksgiving a cousin of mine gave me.

This is an old video made by michelpougnou. I found it funny how he kept dying in the first level of everything random. This was the original Doomguy's Warzone.

This doesn't even look remotely fun. Lemme guess, the author plays this on God Mode?

Even my first jokewad was more balanced than that :/

Seriously, man. You should try to start all over and do something that can be played by most people under normal conditions.

Another thing is, try to not steal from other people and not use the already overused realm667 or wrw / mrw resources.

Keep the NSFW content to a minimum. One instance of impse or something like that is ok, but spamming that and porn all over the place is NOT good. (I know, I did this once and I'm going to fix it because I feel ashamed of myself)

Now, if you excuse me, I need to open up an old WAD of mine and attempt to do those fixes I talked about.

I already discussed that in my previous post. Now what I was thinking about doing is going back in time and finishing up the map of my house. At least I won't have to use as many resources to complete one map. I could do that and get better reception than something I put hard work into for a year when most of the people didn't bother with my difficulties. At least they tried out my maps I'm not completely sure about my so called pointless game modes that people seem think when comes to stuff like Justin Bieber and his army must Die!.

You don't need to go back in time. That's the thing about reputation; it goes both ways. Just start over, make something simple and cool and not a map of a house, and you might be able to salvage what reputation you've got.

I don't think I've ever been quite so uninterested in a .WAD as I have in this, purely from the description and screencaps. The fact that everybody else hates it didn't even get time to enter into the equation.

Guys, can we seriously lay off the image macros? Yeah, this looks stupid as hell, but we can express that with words instead of wheeling out tired, unfunny captioned pictures to describe it.

It's worse because some users have actually been warned specifically for posting with only image macros. If you can't provide any other content to your post other than the cliché Captain Picard pictures, then why bother posting? We get the point already.

Can I do a let's play or does someone have to do one? I could do one on a map or two just to show people that it's not impossible to beat some of them. Maybe you will get to see the portable stripper in action of course I can't do it on one of the maps because of the nudity shown in that map. Anyways here's a old video where I demonstrate the Real Life Enemies difficulty in action.

Of course if want to see another demonstration or other Warzone related videos then check out my website with the link below:
