Dude, you need to play more of Powerslave (no matter the torture) if you want to make a game that replicates it. There is A LOT more you need to do other than making everything look like Powerslave.

given that it hasn't been posted in by the original poster since the beginning of the year - that's four months ago for those keeping track - i'd say yeah, this probably has been abandoned for the moment
