Re: ZDoom Wars (Public Beta 1.021)
In one of my maps that aren't for this I have "bottomless" pits, though when you hit the floor you just teleport to your starting position and a chunck of your health is gone. Perhaps you could do that?

I've just made it so that if you fall into the slime pit, you get insta-teleported into the central sector, without losing health.

Re: ZDoom Wars (Public Beta 1.021)
Sounds good.
And Xuta, add some more stuff to Auditorium, more structures and such. I do like the openness, though. Also, make sure there are no insta-kill pits, and make sure ALL sectors of Lava hurt you (There were a couple that didn't).
Auditorium will be in Official Map Pack 2, along with Warpaths (Mik), and Hell Silo and Octagonal Bases if you finish them. And maybe even Xaser's reworked GVH00 if he actually gets to it.
EDIT: And Mik needs to fix the Capricious Wall of Doom in Tech Monolith!

Re: ZDoom Wars (Public Beta 1.021)
Also, some of the maps need to be re-tasked, lol.
Teams don't work. Keep that in mind.
And the server is packed. A LOT OF THE TIME. So maps on the scale of Deja Vu, Caverns, Valley, etc. with more than 2 bases are welcome.
EDIT: Mik, get rid of the rain effect on Doom City. Sorry, but people just can't play it! Maybe even lose the fog. I know they are for atmosphere and stuff, but they've been playing Valley for hours. And the elevator in the helipad tower still seems to be broken. XD
EDIT: New version!

Go to the Server in IDE, select it, and press W. The download will be here again next beta.darmuss wrote:Where is the download on the 1. page?

It doesn't have the map pack, though, and GetWAD can't seem to find it.Captain Ventris wrote:Go to the Server in IDE, select it, and press W. The download will be here again next beta.darmuss wrote:Where is the download on the 1. page?

Oh my, the server is in the list, but I can't log it because none of the files has been found... How could I solve this problem?

Re: ZDoom Wars (Public Beta 1.2)
Hello again, I got both files. I use Skulltag to play online, but when I try to enter the server I get this:
I don't know how to play online using ZDoom. How do I solve this?
Code: Select all
Script error, "DECORATE" line 2435:
Expected ',' but got string constant "Flameritem" instead.

Re: ZDoom Wars (Public Beta 1.2)
The first post explicitly says you need to use an svn version of Skulltag.
