By the way - I suggest using this http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=90ce ... 1d35fe21fb instead of mage hands for basic spell. Its RotT God hand with removed glow and colored to fit Heretic (in heretic pallete). Frost shard spell sprites are overused and mage hands dont fit into rest of heretic weapons.

Alright, I'll try it in the next version and see what people think, I think It looks alright, though I did like the glow, but I guess this is supposed to be non-elemental, so yeah, i'll try it out.

Dude, this looks epic. :D

Is there another beta tester slot available? I seriously want this.

I might be able to make another video too. :)

the 'balance' nut is here:

for testing purposes, is there a way (like in zdoom) to summon a creature with the console? ( ~ button) After my final exams are over, I could test each monster individually in terms of damage and health points and style of attacks. Also, due to testing, is there a cheat that could give me all 10 weapons and the magic books? (weapon enhancements)

And of course, I would make a playthrough of the first episode.

*cough*

Even if you play Heretic (Or Hexen, or Strife... or Chex Quest :P) with it, it's still ZDoom. All the cheats and such will still work.

Yes. And also Hexen, the original Chex Quest, Chex Quest 3, and Strife.

Yeah, this port supports all those games, also of course you can directly summon the items and monsters, summon command can summon any decorate coded thing or item.

Am I the only one who has a serious problem with running out of ammo in this mod? I played E5M1 and was constantly running out. I think it's nice in concept, but right now the weapon switching is awkward and the weapon slots don't feel intuitive (your start weapon is weapon 7?).

Also, it's really hard to tell glass monsters from steel ghosts. It's rather important to distinguish them because one is weak against the bow and the other immune.

E5M1 was always a bit ammo-tight to begin with, even on Vanilla.

Same here, at least with the steel/glass. God that's annoyingly difficult. "Why did I kill a glass monster with my glass weapon? Oh, wait...that was a steel mummy.

Also, I think so far, only episode 1 is balanced well. I could be wrong...
