Thanks... Just a damn shame I'm not as good at presenting the ideas as well as people expect. :(

Anyway, I forgot about this! I'm gonna look into it right away.

Edit: Ugh, I've tried just about EVERYTHING to try and get these bloody things to turn around correctly, but it's a no go. The only way out is ACS and I don't really want to do that (giving each imping a separate tag makes me want to cry).

Yeah but right now... MEH. You probably don't get this because you're so damn good at this sort of crap but after editing something for so long and it just refuses to work it puts me off it for like a week or something. :|

But yeah expect a PM involving cliff jumping imps in the future!

No, I get that. Ohhhhh how I get that. :(

The good news is that after taking a week-long break I'll often come back and take a second look at whatever wasn't working with fresh eyes, and everything will suddenly be clear as day and I'll wonder what the issue was in the first place. :P

That's not the problem. The problem is that they're not spawning the things that make them enter the pain state when they're clumped together.

A_SpawnItemEx flag: 32 (SXF_NOCHECKPOSITION) - No Check Position: Don't check the destination for room before spawning.

Nope. The idea is that the imps fire the things in front of them like sonar to detect walls in front of them, then a script turns them around. If you've ever played Lemmings, it should work like it does there, where the "implings" will continue to march forward until they hit something solid, and then about-face and start marching the other way.

Ahh, i thought it was a turn comand ala lemmings 3d.
That reminds me, ive goto reinstall my copy of lemmings 95 on my comp.
anyway to rip the music for general listening?

btw is there a way for zdoom to check if an actor hits a wall?
