Boring Levels [ABANDONED]

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Boring Levels [ABANDONED]

Post by AlphaSoraKun »

UPDATE! These levels will be discontinued starting from now. As I feel that I may never get better with these boring levels.

I apparently wanted to earn a spot on the infamous wads list with this stinker, but, I'll take your criticisms and cut the music.

I mean, I really don't want to be "that guy," but I never really understood the idea of making things to be deliberately as annoying as possible. Even doing it as a joke, you'd want to let up eventually or it'd stop being funny and start being actually annoying.

But if this is really the mod you want to make...it's not like I can really stop you.

Yeah. True. This was a practice for me. And I seek to become a better map designer.

UPDATE: I have renamed this conversation and added another test level, this time meant for multiplayer, but sadly, it's incomplete.

you made the first map in doom 1 format while using doom2.wad as your resources. I'm not sure if this really causes any problems but I have configured gzdoombuilder to load doom.wad when using this format.
If you're going to use vanilla format it might be useful to not make maps that rewuire jumping since vanilla doom didn't have that.
