Well, thanks for the help... the only problem with that is that i don't have acess to the GT 630, it's far away from me. Hopefully i will get to use the other pc in a week or so.Kappes Buur wrote:Most of the problems with Radeon cards, which were posted in the forum, revolved around OpenGL as in GZDoom, so I am surprised that Direct3D also gives problems. Maybe it just affects older cards and drivers. But I am glad that you can use the editor with the GeForce card.ranhcase wrote:Kappes Buur wrote: Not a recent model, but i have an GT 630, and the editor works fine on that.
The only other suggestion I would like to make is to, perchance, use a bit beefier heatsink/fan for the CPU. While 63 deg C is not in the danger zone it will, nevertheless, take a toll on the CPU's longevity.

Re: GZDoomBuilder-Bugfix, a maintenance fork of GZDB
Normally I don't have an issue, but I do today. I'm trying to use BSP-W32 for node building for my map. Normally, I'd use ZenNode. But it doesn't play nice with self ref. sectors, and the map is designed for Boom compatibility.
I save the map and.. GZB sort of locks up. I can see bsp-w32 in my task manager sitting there, but it isn't doing anything. My map isn't that big either. Using Process Explorer, I can navigate to where BSP is doing its work in a temp folder. I can see the input file, but the output file is blank.
Mind you, I can open up a command line and manually build the nodes my self using bsp-w32, but when GZDoom Builder handles it.. it goes to crap.

As of the update today, the Draw Rectangle/Elipse/Grid tools don't function.
"Failed to create class instance "DrawRectagleMode" from plugin "Buildermodes"."
Might already be known.. Just tossin' it out there.

That's weird. I have no idea what caused it, looks like some leftover uncleaned old builds. But I think it should work now.

Added lights on models according to in-dev feature by dpJudas.
Did not retain any compatibility with old model lighting (flat), request if needed, I can probably add some config compatflag for Zandronum.

Re: GZDoomBuilder-Bugfix, a maintenance fork of GZDB
An odd thing happens after I installed r2982, which did not happen with previous revisions.
Drawing with Draw Ellipse Mode over an existing sector, so that the top vertex lines up up with a vertical linedef, truncates half of the construct.

Doesn't do this for me. Did you try it in another map? Seems to be the regular issue where sectors are sometimes not created if you draw outside. Happens to me all the time when I draw a sector and don't close it, just press enter with two lines connected to existing one-sided lines, I have no idea how to fix this.

I am getting rendering issues with the latest version when using the 3DMode:

It seems that transparent textures are much darker than the sector they are in, just check the screenshots.

Some weird shit going on here, Sarge...

R2734?
T667 — transparent textures — can you send the texture/map? I tried to make a midtex with 0.7 alpha and illuminate it with a dynamic light (both regular and attenuated) — it doesn't do that. R2984.

I guess what I asking is was that fixed or does it still happen? As for why I am still on R734 of GZDB... reasons™.ZZYZX wrote:R2734?

I couldn't reproduce.

Couldn't reproduce in R2734 or in the latest version of GZDB-BF?ZZYZX wrote:I couldn't reproduce.

Latest. I don't even have the R27something.
Re: GZDoomBuilder-Bugfix, a maintenance fork of GZDB
Alright so it was probably fixed somewhere in between. As long as it isn't happening on the latest is what I wanted to know.ZZYZX wrote:Latest. I don't even have the R27something.
