I decided to turn hitscan attacks into projectiles. I'm gonna add extra ammo types later on that each behave differently

I spent over a month making a BFG10K model so I could do this. Dual fucking wielded BFG10K's. I said I would make every weapon dual wieldable, and I'm sticking to it.

Apparently, this mod really does not like GZDoom, only Zandronum.

Which sucks. Because as much of a $#!+post as this mod may be, I still want to try it. I just don't really feel like having two source ports on my PC, since GZDoom runs just fine with everything else I want to play, and I don't really see the point in getting a different source port for just one mod.

Just get another port. It's free and weighs nothing in comparison to most modern games. If you don't like the mod, just delete the folder altogether. Simple as.

I'll be honest, GZDoom compatibility was very low on my priority list - but it's still on my list. I'll look at GZDoom compatibility further down the line. It's mostly made for Zandronum but that doesn't mean I want to rule out GZDoom.
Frankly, I'm astonished it doesn't work at all in GZdoom, since Zandro is years behind GZDoom. By all means I'd think it should work but it just doesn't want to.

Yeah, there are mods that have seemingly only work for Zandronum either because of the Skulltag content or some strange quirk the engine still has. Take Complex Cluster for example, for a while it was mostly a Zandronum thing until the recent update to the mod which gave it compatibility to GZDoom.
