Quick update for everyone, current test build is now 0.52a give it a try! Numerous bugfixes, some balance tweaks such as a nerf to the special imps, as well as a resprite/animation for the rifle, revolver and pistol.

Yeah, realized I got the number wrong, fixed it.

I think we're still looking into the rifle hold, there's been other feedback about it as well.

Minor progress update, Wolf is working on a new durability system which you can toggle on and off. We're also looking for more spriters and coders if anyone is interested!

Hello devs and thanks for this amazing expirience. I have a question. Im testing the LiTDoom 0.52a Preview Build. Is on this build crafting deactivated? I cant find on any map this crafting generator or whatever is it. I can drop the crafting items but thats it. And googles or the radiationsuit can only activatet by hotkeys. Not with the item activating key standart enter button. Anyway i prise the fantastic work. With the honte mappack one of the best mods in 2020. Thanks for this. Sry for my bad english.

Oh and i forgot. The infinite stamina wont work by the doomguy. Pls fix that. I play many mods with slomo mod. Its the same effect as survival instinct but the mod dont work with litdoom.

Hey, crafting is actually still working, but the spawns can be kind of rare. I went for awhile without seeing them in Doom 2 once, then played it again and found one crafting station every other level. Keep an eye out for the mobile version, it'll show up as a small crate.

Mainly balance tweaks and bug fixes, but you can also now play around with the silenced SMG and enjoy some new "respect" animations for the shotgun when you first pick one up, as well as a slick new main menu look!

Generally I'd recommend mapsets with smaller enemy counts, but it's going to depend on how you scale things. I play with minimal item, weapon and armor spawns, but I also play on We Unhappy Few with minimum enemy spawns, but tougher and stronger enemies. I generally pick for atmosphere, so stuff like:

Hellbound
Back to Saturn X
Doom 2 Redux
Darkstar
Doomone
Doom the Way Id Did (1 and 2)
Hell on Earth Starter Pack
SPAWN
TVR!
UAC Ultra

Anything with vanilla assets should work fine and it'll be more of a balance thing, but it may or may not work like any other mod if you try to use it over a total conversion or something. The mod is more customizable than ever though, between the difficulties, modifiers and classes, so you should be able to make it work with whatever kind of map balance you like aside from maybe slaughterwads.

I would unironically would kill to see someone beat a slaughterwad with LitDoom
