As I've said before I feel like this falls more into the modding side of Corruption Cards than being a base game feature. The main reason I'm not tying it to the UI is that the discovery aspect gets removed if you see the full list of cards and effects and can choose to remove them. Having to discover cards first before being allowed to disable them individually could work, but it doesn't solve the problem of discovering a card that is borked with your mod.

But the CCARDS lump easily allows you to remove specific cards you don't want or ones that break your mods. Heck, if the mod in question has an active author you could even ask them to insert a CCARDS lump into their mod. I've attached another example that removes the explosive projectiles card.

Also finally, could you link the mod so I can see if there's a specific issue with how the card is interacting with these specific projectiles?

First off, love this mod and have been playing it since the first release, keep up the great work! I do have a small suggestion/request: A button or other method of on the card picking screen to pick one of the cards available randomly, for times when you're just like "Not sure which one I wanna pick".

The other day I managed to get Angry Bones. Unfortunately I think it may be broken. Monsters still remain in the map, the music still plays, and It is absent from the map too.

Is this compatible with Hexen? If not, are there plans for it?

Here's a medium-high tier card idea : one that spawns all MULTIPLAYER flagged items and monsters, keys and DM spawnpoints excluded.

As far as I'm aware, It's only semi-compatible. There are issues with Hub Maps, which Cutman said he only fixed crashes for. However, Heretic works for the most part. Only issue is that the title screen is messed up.

i've tested some permutations

gzdoom 4.6.1 (both vanilla and gles) + cc 2.1 and later => crash
gzdoom 4.6.0 (both vanilla and gles) + cc 2.1 and later => ok

gzdoom 4.6.1 (both vanilla and gles) + cc 2.0 and earlier => ok
gzdoom 4.6.0 (both vanilla and gles) + cc 2.0 and earlier => ok


I guess it has something to do with the new CC menu system and how it interacts with recent gzdoom changes?

I am aware. Next patch will be just fixes (once I get a day off work ;) ). To avoid the crash for now please use an earlier GZDoom.

I'm not sure whether to bring this up to you or D3athStalker but when playing with "Doom Incarnate" grenades stop working. (where you would normally throw a grenade, the throw animation plays but the grenade never appears)

Some cards appear to replace the level's music track with a custom one

While it is eerie and nice at first, it's a permanent card I got on map02. This alone is off putting and causes me to not want to continue because i'll be forced to listen to it for 28 levels. It's also abnormally loud.

could you please add a setting to disable custom tracks?

I have fixed that for next version. Also it should be impossible to get that card on map02, so there must be a bug with that card showing up too often.

You can revert the music change in the mean time using the console command: changemus *
