Hi Mike, having an issue with mistery card on 1.9b.
Once I get the first mistery card, it actually reveals me what's the effect.

It can; you will probably want to modify your copy of Compendium by adding the HUB map as an exception via the CCARDS lump, so that it does not give you an extra card.

If I pick the "enemies act as if you have invisibility" card and fire the Eliminator shotgun in the Trailblazer mod the screen flashes a black box on the screen.

New version with some minor fixes.

  • Fixed a crash while CCards_Disable was true.
  • Fixed Mystery Cards revealing their description.
  • Fixed toxic corpses using the wrong graphics with certain mods.
  • Fixed certain Heretic monsters getting stuck with the Miniature Army Curse.
  • Increased the mass of stone statues.
  • Compressed most audio files.
  • Added one new card.

I will probably do this at some point, but I can't figure out how to strip an actor's drop items once they've been spawned.

This I have no idea on though. All my mod is doing is giving you a partial invisibility powerup but without the transparency.

doesn't Trailblazer replace the Partial Invisibility powerup? Maybe that has something to do with it? Though if that were true, I imagine every mod that replaces the invisibility would have issues, and I believe that's not true.

This means extracting the "CCARDS.txt" file from CorruptionCards' pk3 archive and adding it to the root of Compendium's pk3 archive, right?

I've tried to do so, but when loading the hub map I'm still presented with the initial game mode & deck selection menu
Am I missing something else?

Either way, it looks like it's something he plans to fix on TB's end in the future, but thought it might be good to know if other mods ever run into a similar issue

When I pick Chaos cards. It says there are not enough cards in the pool, what am I missing?

I was playing corruption cards with pandemonia and i had "imp and its species fire triple projectiles" and "chaos imp throws a chain of 3 projectiles" both on. It made the chaos imp shoot in an infinite loop, even if i would make it stuck somewhere and go around a corner out of its sight it would keep on spamming. was pretty cool actually :)

Mostly likely coincidence. I didn't even have 1.0 with the trailer out when I found out about this. I even flirted with the idea of changing the mod name on release of 1.0 but I felt a lot of people were already to used to "Corruption Cards" to change it now :wink:

There seems to be a bug that lets friendly monsters carry hostiles. Might be not due to the mod itself though, it happened on a stream with Twitchy Doom custom commands.

Can you tell me where to look to disable the mandatory wait time upon starting a level?
edit: I found it. It's the CVAR ccards_selector_nobuffer
