Just a quick fix update because the lag on slaughter maps was unbearable, please download the file again.
There's also other fixes and stuff I managed to sneak in.

v.1.06c:
Optimized lameduke's octabrain code for better performance on slaughter maps
Attempted to fix a bug with fireflys walking on air
Fixed bug with sentry drone dodging
Fixed pipebomb's bar bug when you die
Improved visual cue for firefly's exploding body when beheaded
Attempted to fix zero-crossing issues with sounds
Leftover health from medkits goes to the portable medkit
Slimer eggs can only hatch when they can see you
Rats can only flee when they can see you
Added FORCEXYBILLBOARD flag to flying monsters for better appearance
Other tweaks/optimizations

Great stuff.
Also dunno if anyones interested (its kind of lame and pointless) but I made some minor changes to the status bar - nothing major, just some tweaks to tidy it up and make it more closely resemble the one in the original duke 3d:

All of which is just to say I'm really taken with this mod :) I've never gone to this much trouble for anything else lol

I've included (hopefully) all the necessary png files and sbarinfo.txt with the altered STKEYSB positions, also chucked in "you guys suck" cos the missing s was irking me haha

DN3DooM v1.06c + DN3Doom Music and Textures give an almost perfect conversion of Duke Nukem in Doom maps except for the story.
Is there a patch / addon that fits duke nukem in the context of Doom / Final Doom in intermissions??

Thanks wran!, it loads well as an addon and works fine in-game. I hope you don't mind me including it in the main fork.

I don't think there is such a thing, but I believe it's doable to add your own text in the MAPINFO file.

I thought it existed but thanks anyway. :thumb:
I will look for tutorials on editing MAPINFO file

Thanks. I'm afraid that's out of my league. You should be able to swap at least some of the sprites from the latest don ramon mod. Although some probably would be missing like the plasma cannon's, and some reloading animations.

Sorry for all the quick-fix updates recently, but I hope this is the last critical bug. At least I could add wran's improvements too (thanks).
This update fixes a game-breaking bug/crash, so please download the file again.

v.1.06d:
Fixed crash when lameduke's octabrain attempts to possess an invalid actor
Improved normal status bar
Fixed "you guys suck" skill text
