A Weapon and Character Replacement Mod


So what's all this, then?
This is my First Doom mod, I have some modding experience in the past, but most of it is just texture and text string replacements. This is by Far my most complex mod, and features 8 New guns, and no BFG replacement yet because I'm lazy. It also changes Doomguy's Portrait to my Original the OC, Bloo.


Who the hell is Bloo?
An old character of mine, She's existed in my school doodles for about 7-8ish years. She's called Bloo because 9 Year old Me wasn't very creative. She's a shooty gal who likes to shoot the guns and doesn't afraid of anything.


I don't care about your Deviantart OC, what features does this mod Have?
Right you are. This mod has...

    8 Amateur Quality Weapons with custom sprites made from models ripped from other games!
    Full Replacement of the Default Doomguy Portraits!
    Replacements for the Armour and Health Bonuses because vanilla ones are Useless!
    Not a lot else, Honestly!

Seeing as this is a WIP, What needs to be done before it Not being one?

    A BFG Replacement, I have some ideas, But I just wanted to put this mod out there and see what people think.
    Third Person Bloo Sprites, Currently uses the Default Marine Sprites.
    Proper Balancing, Currently I haven't tested this mod an insane lot, So I don't know how balanced ammo pickups and damage is and all that.
    Probably get someone to Voice Act some lines for Bloo, but this is more just a thing I always wanted to see someone do.

Female Character =/= Waifu.
If I made a Kaede Akamatsu Doom mod you'd have the right to make fun of me.

that's very very true, I hope you give your Female Character a good story cause I would like one with the gameplay : )

Well, She has a story, but not for this mod, I just always thought it'd be cool to have a Doom mod where you can play as her.
I could maybe make a Map Pack in the future starring her, though. I don't know how to make levels just yet, however.

One thing you should probably do when you are gonna update it, is actually making the melee option be buffable by berserk, because right now it is unaffected

Yeah, One Thing I forgot to mention in the thread was possibly replacing some the powerups, because I feel like most of the default ones are kinda bad honestly.

The sniper rifle can still fire when you run out of ammo and since you have no explosive weapon atm it's impossible to kill the IoS in MAP30.

Well, shit. I didn't have plans for an explosive weapon, so that could be an issue.

Alright, I fixed the sniper issue, and Increased fire rate of some guns a little bit, cuz someone pointed out they should be a bit faster. Still, Don't know what to do about the Icon of Sin.

Alright, Explosive Secondary Fire added on the M29. Uses two Bullets, but fuckin explodes. Knock yourselves out.
