Okay guys this is the last mod based on one that isn't mine. (hopefully :D )
The original mod is by Dean "deathz0r" Joseph. Yes, i am allowed to do this

Load only ONE wad of the ones in the zip! either OMGWPNSCLASSIC.wad or OMGWPNSCLASSIC_S.wad (if you want simpler ammo types)

OMG Weapons! (and Monsters) is widely known in the ZDoom community as the mod that started randomizer mods, and despite it's unbalance, it's still a very fun mod that works nicely to make those old PWADS be a new experience each time.

This CLASSIC version of the mod, is meant to balance what we already have, while steadily adding new content to the mix.

It's also fully compatible with ZDoom 2.1.4 (coincidentially also ZDoom Classic :lol: ) Skulltag 0.97 onwards, all Zandronum versions and the vast majority of GZDoom versions. In the future it will too be compatible with Eternity (Waiting for custom weapons) and ZDaemon (Waiting for custom missiles and more free states)
I also fixed most terrible bugs commonly assocciated with old versions (weapons never respawning, stuff like MAP07 boss deaths not triggering)

-Added a new weapon: A Doom 2016-like infinite ammo pistol, with bad damage, but good firerate and great accuracy
Temporary measure against ammo unbalancing.

-Added a variation of the mod, named omgwpnsclassic_s.wad, that simplifies ammo types (inspired by the 10th anniversary year edition) basically, all slots have the same ammo types as their base weapons (for instance, all Shotgun slot weapons have Shell as their ammo type)

-Made stronger variants of the undead appear less frequently

-Fixed boss monsters not triggering their tag (Cyberdemon in E2M8 and Mancubus MAP07, for example)

-Fixed weapons not respawning in Deathmatch (You can't make them stay, though)
