This is begging for a hellsing reference, especially with the Jackal - It also needs to be a lot more Blood themed as well.
Will there be another update soon?

Eventually yes, I still need to make a better HUD and add some new powerups. As for references, the black and white revolvers are probably as hellsingy as you're gonna get :D There's plenty of other nun-related media out there to take inspiration from so Hellsing and Blood are low priority lol

Update:
HUD face now has full damage sprite set or whatever it's called (basically, touch hurty get bloody)
Bolter is now slightly more powerful (I'll make it more unique at some point but for now it deals 1 more point of damage)
Holy water bottles are a little less powerful but still super op lol
Fancyish bullet decals
Crappy placeholder ms paint title screen
Way cooler intro music (Igorrr - Corpus tristis)

Also, if you want another nun to help you out of a messy situation (or you're playing Hanging Gardens lol) just summon mbfhelperdog and you'll get a nun instead of a dog :D I was gonna add her as another summon but haven't got around to it yet

This mod is something I was waiting for. Awesome. Also, I don't think that title screen is crappy unless you'll come up with something way better.

Update time again!
Bolter now fires explosive rounds and leaves decals
Water cannon leaves decals
Bigass cross gun attack looks fancier and does more damage
Semi-fixed Heretic compatibility (some powerups still need adding but it's more or less playable)

And the berserk cross finally gives you a decent power boost, as well as playing some rockin jams

First time going back to Faith after a long while. First thought - The title screen art is awesome now. Other than that, the small tweeks and such were good.

Also tried for Heretic. Pretty good. Once it's further in development I'll provide more feedback from the Heretic side of things.

My test video for Heretic. There are some sound problems, but those were only on the recording end. I didn't hear them while playing.

The hand sprite seems cut off near the edge (pointing it out again).


Also the hands are still like Duke Nukem's :D Don't know if they could be edited to the point I won't feel Duke3D vibe in them. Anyway, they became better than the previous time I saw this mod.

Update time :D

I fixed the cutoff hand sprite lol
Faith jumps higher now
Added a flamethrower primary mode to the shotgun and relegated buckshot to altfire
Fancied up the shotgun a little
Added more new music
Fancied up the big cross's energy bursts
Added new title/intermission/ending art
Added captive nun helpers (randomly replace the dead marines)

And I added a new final boss, it doesn't have super challenging AI but it's a good test of player agility :D (the double jump comes in handy here)

That's cuz I'm using a_spawnitemex, it wasn't so noticable with the regular sparks but since the fire is part of the attack I should find a better way to shoot them. Thanks for pointing it out :D

Just added new nun sprites, now the captive nuns actually display which weapon they're using instead of firing 9mm rounds from a shotgun lol
Next update will hopefully involve modifying the tooth relic to be more useful

[edit] update time again lol
Tooth relic now shoots energy blasts (weak and strong with blast effect) as well as summoning helpers
Better sounds for the cross gun
Shotgun particles now shoot where you're aiming instead of just forward
