If you mean the "unknown slime blah blah blah", that's probably a leftover from the Kriegsland/Flakes basis. It doesn't interfere on the final result, but thanks for noticing. Next updates will have those removed.

Your video is ready. I enjoyed Factotum, and I'd say it has a good potential.

I might also work in one being played with Heretic's IWAD if you want.

Thanks man, just updated the video on the page, soon there'll be an update with smaller fixes, but nothing which would make the video seem outdated.

Considering the resident evil theme going on with this. are you going to put it more to the survival-horror side of things? like with some more inv. management and some expecial weapons that are limited use?

Yeah, I like where this is going and hope you add a bit more of a scavenging survival/horror feel to it to go with the weapon system.

As much as i love some of the old "pre-renderized action/survival" like Parasite Eve 2, Dino Crisis 1&2, Alone in the Dark (mainly TNN), Resident Evil (first PSX Trilogy) and so on and on, i feel i have nothing... erm... new and natural to show you all. I know, all your suggestions were WAY helpful in the very short lifetime of this project in particular.

I just am out of ideas, which means i have none of my own that aren't things like:
- make ammo/health resources scarce
- nerf weapons
- make weapons break faster (already suggested by a few guys, gonna give a go on that)
- mess with difficulty levels

Oh yeah, there's a update stalled over here (NOT released yet!). It includes a upgrade for the Grenade Launcher as well as some sprite replacements.

Thanks for your considerations! I would like to hear more on this :)

A big NO to faster breaking wepons. :) I'm ok with harder hitting (alternate attacks?) monsters, just do not let them move around at lightspeed.

Why not make a Factotum-specific monster pack? From my understanding, to make alternate attacks for monsters would also mean you'd require to swap their classes out for new ones. That'd break the compatibility Factotum is supposed to have.

Speaking of Factotum again... the mod has a new update! There are very few changes, but here's what you can expect:

also, where does the player sounds come from, and also when are you going to add a BFG9000-like weapon? (like a FIM-92 Stinger or the M202 or a Single-Shot wide-explosive weapon?)

Player sounds are from Fallout 3. The bark secret sound is from Parasite Eve 2's Flint.

About the BFG-weapon.... ehhhhhhhh i really didn't wanted to mess with the cast again, as the plasma cannon is surely the strongest weapon in the game. I thought on a area effective weapon which would use cells but not durability. I don't know, something as stupid as a BFG remote bomb.

But hey, thanks for liking!

EDIT: Oh yeah, i forgot to say! The machete got a 60% damage buff!

Hey guys, who wanted another Factotum update?

Few gameplay things have changed, but since Factotum is a 4.3Mb file, it is a lot easier to update and mantain. Here's the changelog:

You should update the machete's description since the fist no longer exists.

Thank you for reminding! I've updated the description, as well as i am going to edit the changelog: I've forgot to say that i changed the pistol/calico casings to grey.
