random rambling thoughts i had while playing:
1. ice gun + green chaingun thing are too similar in appearance (don't know if just beta placeholders)
2. personal issue: fullscreen flashing bright colors is super annoying and hurts my eyes since i'm kind of senstitive to it (examples: the blue suit melee attack, gold suit BFG attack, during kamui rampage)
2b. addendum: chaingun replacement alt-fire spawns too close to the player for my taste (which also kind of causes this effect)
3. shotgun normal alt fire seems really useless?
4. void sphere is shit compared to plasma gun's alt fire, really bad when you're expecting a BFG-like weapon but it's nothing like it (unless you have the swimsuit but success in maps shouldn't be based on if you're lucky enough to get a swimsuit pickup)[actually when you have the swimsuit it seems insanely fucking OP to just spam the alt-fire]
4b. it should just work like a normal bfg tbh, and have the other bfg weapon be like an upgrade or something
4c. or the alt fire on it should at least take armor health instead of completely destroying it, (you use it once to clear a group of slaughtermap dudes but then there's still more to kill and you have no armor :\)
4d. after messing around in a slaughtermap with it (SCYTHE map26) i realized you can still shoot it at full speed even with no armor on, i guess that's alright but it's still kind of shitty? what if i run out of ammo for it and there's no other armor pickups around: i'm completely fucked since everything is slower while you're naked
5. lights dimming during void sphere attack is annoying
there should probably just be an option to turn these screen effects off tbh
6. smart grenade launcher should just cycle between overcharged and normal grenades (since every other setting doesn't seem as useful and clutters the menu), also not being able to hold down mouse1 to constantly fire it is annoying
7. being able to kill yourself with the bfg (and the void sphere) is kind of dumb, i'll just be running trying to dodge shit and i'll get caught in my own BFG blasts or i'll accidentally shoot the void sphere right in the face of a dude
8. what are the rates on the alternate weapon spawns? it seems like i never get the yellow super shotgun, and the rusty grenade launcher never spawned for me
also the spawns are kind of annoying when you're expecting to find a certain weapon but you end up finding another (which might be a shittier version of what you were looking for (VOID SPHERE))
9. gun praise:
the plasma gun is really good, probably maybe even too good (alt fire)
the alt fire on the smart grenade launcher is also really good, especially with the schoolgirl outfit (maybe even also too good?)
the ice gun seems good enough, the alt fire is nice but maybe the normal shot is a little weak?
10. i haven't really had a problem about the armor system to write down, now that i think about it, so i'd like to think that it's fine? only issues i could have with it are kind of nitpicky and maybe kind of antithesis to the design of the mod (too little health while naked, not having an item/pickup to give backup armor when you run out)
personal suggestion:
meta info toggle (monsters killed/items/etc.) on the HUD would be nice
suggestion that i know would take a lot of work:
being able to combine outfits would be super cool

7. This is an oversight on the void spheres part, for the BFG's part it depends which mode is being used, some of the harsher fires like fire bikini and cyber armor are intentional due of their giga effect.
8. 20% for rusty launcher, 33% for scrapper. The BFG is its own weapon and not alternative
9. \o/ Ice gun is slightly weaker than ssg variants but it freezes foes which makes it anti archvile utility
10. You can have back up armor if you have tailoring kit and tailor sphere

had some fun through map01 of scythe to map28 on UV
so everything here's from that specific playthrough

1. still don't like the shotgun altfire, but maybe i'm just not using it in the right situations
-why would i want to bounce enemies around when i can just shoot them all with less ammo used with the normal fire
-it's probably just not useful to the way i play, maybe it's actually fine
-the ninja star altfire is cool tho
2. nurse suit plasma gun altfire is really weird?
-i know it's supposed to be some kind of melee attack but it's kind of awkward to use because the animation doesn't really suggest what it does, maybe up the range on it a little (or make the animation more clear?)
-or maybe i'm dumb and everyone else knew what the frick it was immediately
3. rusty nade launcher altfire supercedes the normal fire in every single situation because
-it's more powerful
-it costs the same amount of ammo as the normal fire
also the smart nade launcher is better in pretty much every way compared to the rusty one, in my opinion:
---overcharged nades launch faster (compared to rusty alt fire)
---overcharged nades are more powerful i think? (compared to rusty alt fire)
---despite the rusty nade launcher's alt fire using less ammo, i never wanted to use it because:
---smart alt-fire is faster for clearing stuff quickly - rusty alt fire shoots too slow
the rusty nade launcher clutters your weapon selection, if anything i think it should be an upgrade item for the smart nade launcher (maybe lock the overcharged nades behind this upgrade item? they are kind of super powerful considering you have them immediately upon finding a smartnade launcher)
4. some more void orb issues
-the attack animations need to be more clear, i can't tell how far i am in the "combo" when i'm holding down the normal fire button
-what is the intended use for the normal fire on the void orb? it's supposed to be a bfg-tier weapon but it takes ~300 ammo to completely kill a cyberdemon with the normal fire

-i know i could have killed him immediately with the alt fire but i wanted to keep my armor (glad you're changing this )

For some reason the shotgun's bouncy alt fire causes enemies to start infighting each other immediately. That can be kinda useful. Also, you can use its force to bounce yourself around if you'd like.

Oooh, oh my, I do like feedback, some replies / clarifications;

1. Its useful for re positioning enemies that are out of reach before you have rocket launcher and to cause general scatter effect. You can also shotgun jump with it.
You'll find use for it eventually.
2. its basicly the ol classic defibrillator. I'd add "CLEAR!" yell if I had that
3. Well you might think why it is like it is, however the #6 answers your question about the draw back; It will explode randomly cause its unstable shot.
4. Well the animation is bit hard to specify but I see the issue with cybie killing; Vanilla cybie is immune to radius damage so it doesnt take really any damage at all, this is an oversight cause orbs damage mostly comes from the radius damage. I'll add +forceradiusdmg to the void sphere for next update
5. Some weapons seem to do that, I'll probably add an "error" state check for them.

7. It's a special thing, it will only detonate on walls, and then the magic happens.
8. Void orb, tho in the next patch it will have some other chances to appear aswell.

i didn't know you could jump with it, i don't like breaking the map so i never tried it ;-;

would you consider changing this? i don't think it's very good design to have a weapon that can randomly just kill you out of nowhere
at least lower the damage, or make the explosion just knock you back really far instead of killing you
would suck to be like halfway thru a map and die from your own weapon exploding in your face

Alright releasing a tweak patch.
This patch adds some options for player preferences and fixes some issues
it also rebalances some weapons and adds secretary outfits effects in
I will now take a longer break between updates, next time I'll update when I get atleast 2 outfits done with effects and everything.
-Nerfed super shockers alt fire a little
-Void sphere's alt no longer eats your clothes but costs a little more
-Smartnade can now autofire
- Added some options for changing visual effects and weapon spawns
- the BFG can now spawn in mysterious ways
- Rusty launchers alt fire drawback has been tweaked to be more fair
- Office gear now has a lot more effects on guns and for the BFG
- shopping bags have been sighted

So the work flow continues, while I am working on new outfits I am also working on balance fixes and features, such as ammo things, some ACS mess ups etc
I thought I'd drop a little preview for a feature + new outfit that I am working on right now

The feature is also related to the chase cam here, thanks to thezombiekiller and his script resources.
Once I get this one out of the way there will be a second outfit put to work aswell before I go release ready for next version.
I've yet to decide on the next outfit to focus on tho, thinken of either winter gear, cowgirl or toohoo hijack
feel free to drop opinion on what sounds most interesting out of those

Lum is a classic I hear but I havent watched that so id have no idea what to do with the abilities to begin with

In this update, two new outfits enter the field, both with rather.. charming abilities.
They are both very powerful indeed, so keep your eyes open.
In other major features, I have implemented thezombiekillers advanced chasecam in the options
There is also a lot of balance changes and tweaks, few new effects for some excisting armors.
Full change log;

- Nerfed the flamebikinis frost gun and pew pew rifle effect a little
- Void sphere alt now takes 25 armor points off cause powerful and 180 ammo

- Improved the pistol alt fire
- Nerfed the alt fire of ninja pew pew rifle, cause it was insane
- Carrots tweaked a little

This mod is awesome. The uniforms currently in the game are already super awesome, can't wait to see the upcoming ones~
EDIT: Is it normal that the succubus outfit gives you no player sprite in the HUD? Because that's what is happening with my game.
