Beyond the icy lands of dark of the Dreamlands, past the uncharted city of Kadath, simple folks say the holy Cathuria lies, but wise dreamers know there only the gates to the void where the Blind Idiot God rests are to be found. Azathoth, the Nuclear Chaos, the Deep Dark, sleeps eternally, lulled by the maddening sound of the drums and pipes held by nameless paws, and it dreams. It dreams to swallow the entire universe, it dreams to end life itself, and it dreams to return everything to the shapeless vacuum that was before time itself started moving forward.
Children from around the entire globe wake up in the middle of the night crying every night after Azathoth reaches them through their nightmares, attracted by their innocent and more receptive souls. A child wakes up, and forgets the despair he experienced as soon as the mother comes to assure it was all just an illusion and no, there is no such thing as monsters hiding in the dark corners of their mind.
Lies. Only lies, told with a heavy heart to spare the younglings from the knowledge that monsters do exist, for Azathoth’s dreams are no mere fantasies. They turn into matter and come to this world screaming and screeching and cursing their own parent for a life they never asked nor were they fully given as they are only destined to suffer intolerable pain before fading away into nothingness once again.
But it came the day, as it had been written in the cursed pages of the Necronomicon and had been announced by Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos, that one of these specters endured the torture of the unholy delivery. With a will so strong only a being of pure hate and insanity could have, it forced its atoms to bond into molecules and gave itself a shape. Its victorious roar was heard everywhere, from the deepest oceanic pits where Cthulhu slumbers to the outmost corners of the Dreamlands. Thus VorMatur, the Torturer of Souls, was born: angry, spiteful, mad, yet capable of logical thoughts, unlike his paternal figure. It lives by one commandment only, to strangle this world between its amorphous claws and rid the livings of their will to exist. Suffering follows in its wake, everything capable of human-like intellect it captures during its intergalactic travels it tortures for years. Most of its victims die or turn into empty foaming shells, but those who survive are reborn through the pain, like VorMatur itself.
Driven insane, deprived of any semblance of sentience, as if they were cretinous infants they look up to their torturer for a purpose when all else has lost its meaning. And VorMatur hears their pleas, and like a twisted father it welcomes them to its family, and teaches them there is no greater goal than to serve it and spread its word throughout all of creation.
VorMatur ultimate objective is not known. Maybe it doesn’t have one, maybe no matter how much it execrates its origin it doesn’t actually have a will of its own, just like its puppets, and was only brought into existence to lay down the path for the awakening of Azathoth. For the Lord Of All Things sees all and knows all, its eternal sleep is coming to an end and its arrival will be paved with the desperate agonizing howls of the damned.
Active Ability: Horror Shrieking, slithering, torrential shadows of red viscous madness chasing one another through endless, ensanguined corridors of purple fulgurous sky... formless phantasms and kaleidoscopic mutations of a ghoulish, remembered scene; forests of monstrous overnourished oaks with serpent roots twisting and sucking unnamable juices from an earth verminous with millions of cannibal devils; mound-like tentacles groping from underground nuclei of polypous perversion... insane lightning over malignant ivied walls and daemon arcades choked with fungous vegetation...

Passive Ability: Excess Matter
Gifted with power beyond comprehension, VorMatur could never submit to the will of the Elders. In its quest to surpass the Outer Gods, as if it were a rebellious child, it started scarring and altering its body. All those modern technology going to waste in the hands of humans…the Torturer could not let them be squandered by such foolish creatures. Iron lungs and titanium arms, adamantite fangs and silicone nerve tracts.
There is not a day that VorMatur passes without thinking about ways to recast its own body. Anything to hinder the ever growing mass of flesh multiplying beneath its skin! Anything to forget the primordial chaos it once was!
Passive Ability: Corrosive Blood
VorMatur was never meant to be. And even more, he was never meant to escape the region of the Outer Universe Azathoth made his resting place. When its innards come into contact with matter they burn and corrode anything they touch, and its chitinous shell can only barely contain the corruption flowing inside its body.
Once VorMatur discovered this, it started subjecting its victims to fouler tortures. He would melt their skin and force them to watch as their bones decayed into a bubbling goo. To the ones that would never stop screaming in pain and fear, he would pour blood right into their mouths and collect their rotting brain for further experimentation.

is it too early to report a bug? i don't know why, but grayson hunt's first passive is broken on my end, because i seemingly can't buy ammo. also, his info screen is messed up. the screen says 100 health and 125 armor, but in game his stats are 125 health and 100 armor. edit: idk if it's something wrong with zandronum, but every time i start a bot deathmatch with qcde, all bots are my allies.
