Really love this mod, it actually goes surprisingly well with Heretic. What do the damage and defense sliders effect exactly? Was thinking it might be kinda nice if the Revolver did slightly more damage, but then again it has infinite ammo so I'm sure it was done with balance in mind. Also just wanted to say, great job with Dead Man's Holster and Basilissa, first time I've ever seen that lock-on mechanic, really comes in handy:)

Made an account to say how much fun this mod is. There's something extremely satisfying about it all when you play on a map that just clicks with it.

A simple question about the mod...
I am using the latest version version of GZDoom and apparently for me the game crashes when I get the invisibility mask thingy... Do you know what I can do to make that stop?

Can't replicate this crash on 3.7.2 or 3.8 previews. Could you get a screenshot or a crash log?

iirc this is a hardware issue that happens on cards that aren't fully OpenGL 2.0

try running in software mode?

Try Mod Options -> Optimization -> Vision Effects -> Off.

Does it have to do with anything when the game loads up that the console command says that their is a pickup flash and some kind Hexen text file problem?
Because it is what I get every time I boot up the game with no mods or anything, just the mod on any compatible WAD.

Hi, I've got a problem and I don't know who else to ask. Pirate Doom is my favorite wad and High Noon Drifter is my favorite weapons mod so naturally I was really excited to play High Seas Drifter. And it worked fine up until I got to the dual pistols, which were still the dual pistols and not the SMG. When I got to the dynamite, that too was still the dynamite and not the grenades. I've tried everything I can think but I can't get it work past the first few weapons. I'm using ZDL to load everything in the right order and GZDoom, Pirate Doom, High Noon Drifter and High Seas Drifter are all the latest versions. I'm sure I'm just missing something or making some kind of dumb mistake, but I don't know what that might be. Thanks for any help you can give me

Awesome mod. Fairly simple of course, but its so well polished that I took it for multiple spins. And the customization also makes it more flexible...
Like snatching keys with a boomerang, that's fun, yes?

Too bad I forgot to do that with the skull. Oh well... :C

Anyway, I featured your mod here:


Minor nitpick: When you tweak the option for the revolver to use ammo, you should spawn with some extra, otherwise the player will be dry really quickly.

Congrats on the High Noon Drifter being featured on the ZDCMP Video, Term! Looks pretty fantastic and definitely shows what are different and unique. I envy ya sometimes-
