That's my first try on doing doom weapon. I need a feedback on it.

To summon it, type summon dispistol in console

From the screenshots, the sprites look a little too blurry.

That's a side effect from scaling down the original picture, I think

I think that this weapon is decent, however I encountered some problems:
1. 2 out of 3 audio files had no file extension
2. The sound defenition in SNDINFO and the one in DECORATE did not match, causing the fire sound to not play.
3. I had to do some scripting to make all three sounds work (the fire and pickup sounds were logical to attach to an event and I assume the cocking sound is the weapon raise sound.)

These next points are more of my personal preference, but might still be useful:
1. The muzzle flash is a bit big.
2. The sounds are a bit soft and the pistol fire sound is longer than the actual shot (I think I can hear water splashing at the end as well)

If you want me to upload the modded version of the pistol so you can take a look at what I did to fix the sounds, just ask me and I can post a link to the modified file here or PM it to you.

All in all, if you can get your hands on some better sounds, some less blurry sprites and fix the issues with the sounds, the mod will be a lot better.

Thanks for letting me know. Yeah, I would like to see the modded version of yours, if possible, via PM.

I think the muzzleflash could use with a small decrease in size as well.
