Hexen is planned too. Not Strife. I am soooo done trying mod compatibility for Strife. I'd basically have to learn to map to properly do Strife support so I can replace that friggin' MAP14, seriously Rogue what were you thinking and when the cross-IWAD compatibility pack for a weapons mod needs to replace maps just to work... eh... kinda ruins the point in my opinion.

There won't be an equivalent to the Tome of Power in FinalDoomer Heretic compatibility. I had originally intended that, but trying to make a weapons buff without modding the weapons is harder than it sounds. I pretty much brokeded my brain trying this for the Maser, for example. Also, BTSXGuy has something very much like the Tome of Power in his Nanocore, so making another artifact like that is pretty much redundant.

There will be some bonus user options, like whether or not pickups can be stored in inventory like vanilla Heretic/Hexen or used immediately like Doom.

You could always replace the TOP by something like a quad damage. Quick and simple, no need to change weapons.

If anyone feels like that neutron balls of JPCP set shotguns are too slow, here is an addon for you. I buffed their speed from "OH COME ON GO ALREADY" to "Bum, demon asshole". (They are %50 faster now.)

I am playing with the Plutonia set of this mod for a couple of days, it's great! I also spent 2 hours already going through sets and testing the guns :D

Errm, does anyone else think the Plutonia set's grenade launcher is too bouncy? It's a bit over the top, heh! Maybe it should lose speed faster, like Quake's grenade launcher, instead of going pinball mode!

By the way, what about a Slipgate weapon set? (Not necessarily exactly the same Quake weapons but what Doomguy would find there) To go with the Dimension of the Boomed texture+monster+mapset, its beta was released today. :idea:

I use Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 for all of my sprite work and animation. We already have a few people lined up to help make weapon sprites and don't really need any additional artists, but I appreciate your enthusiasm!
