I will eventually change it to be the ammo bar instead of the radial charge meter it is now. Should ensure it'll fit better that way, although it doesn't seem oversized to me.

Doesn't Delta Touch offer a "dev version" option for its GZDoom? I would think that should work.

Alright, here's an impromptu guide on how to make this function in Delta Touch. I am using the Google Play Store version of Delta Touch.
Following the instructions in the Google Doc link from the first post of this thread, I was able to download D4D.PK3 and D4D_RESOURCE.PK3, however I had to tap-and-hold in order to get Download buttons. Getting the mc_utility.zip from Github was another problem, however, as even when you're requesting the Desktop version of Github, Github's website does not offer a download button at all from a mobile browser. I had to download it from a PC and then send it to my phone via Dropbox. Then I had to rename it to a .pk3 for Delta Touch's mods window to recognize it, as it does not recognize .zip files for some strange reason.
Right. On to the images.
FIRST: with GZDoom as the active port, find THIS BUTTON:
The button indicated by the white TAP HERE arrow changes which version of GZDoom will be used to run the game. Tap the two-arrow button until the top bar reads Delta Touch | GZDoom DEV legacy. There is a way to enable the Modern version, but this depends on your device having OpenGLES 3.5 support or better, which my Samsung Galaxy S10+ seemingly does not, as running the game provoked a shader compilation error. However, DEV Legacy should work fine.
Then, press the grey keyboard icon on the bottom right to open the mod loader, and pop up the list (the one highlighted in yellow):
From there, tap the files in the Mods list:
You MUST tap them in a SPECIFIC ORDER according to the instructions in the first post. Tap mc_utility, then D4D_RESOURCES, then D4D, then hit OK. Then tap your device's Back button, NOT THE X BUTTON, to close the menu. Press the red Play button, and then after a short delay, you will see the opening logos and the game should be running fine.

My cell is a huawei mate 10 lite and I use a delta touch open account which I tried to update...

If the problem is that you can't pay for Delta Touch, try messaging Beloko; he's on Doomworld and seems to be fairly willing to give free Play Store keys to users who can't pay, as long as they ask privately.
