Also, it kinda reminds me of the screen after you win or loose in your Reelism project.

i felt the REELism influence on that screen, now that's REEL Deal. Anyway is this result screen suppose to be show up after got killed in some map including non-vanilla maps?

That would be neat if this mod can read the map names then.

The result screen shows up when you die in Ultra-Nightmare difficulty, which is an Ironman "one life, that's it" mode. It uses the real map name.

As for the Reelism similarities, I guess I'm just unoriginal... :lol:

Hold up are you referencing the books I haven't read the books in a long time but I think something like that happens because Fly is constantly saying the rockets are the size of batteries but during his first baron fight he also compares them to pills and I think that was because he was shooting them into the baron's mouth

Kinsie please try to avoid referencing the books they honestly reinterpreted the revenant's armor/dried blood as a white shirt and red shorts and called it a skeleton in lederhosen

I suppose it's far from a "playable state" but how far is "far"?

This isn't a very good idea, no offense, because a lot of the weapons are largely identical in function between games, disregarding Doom 4's weapon mods. Its not too true, example: shotgun
Doom1/doom2: horizontal spread, pump action
Doom64: work like a semi-auto shotgun
Doom3: pump, circular spread
Doom4: burst fire shotgun.

The same idea aply in any gun, ever the very similar ones has differences on firehate, bullet speed, damage... or you can just balance any weapon in different way. The player can drop any weapon to avoid hold many. Doom alpha bfg fire a lot of plasma balls unlike others bfgs

it is true, though. all those guns does the same thing. Doom? shoots a spread that kills enemies. 64? shoots a spread that kills enemies? 3 and 4? also shoots a spread that kills enemies, the latter only being different cuz it has weapon mods.

i think the randomized weapons are gonna be a bit more crazy than that, and given that he's mashed together the likeliness of e.g. the pistol from all the Doom games into one, i think the regular shotgun is probably gonna look similar to that of a mash-up of all the series different shotguns too.

aren't the doom64 weapons just reskins of the original ones though
im pretty sure theyre functionally identical and just have different graphics/sound.
