Re: Chris' WWII/Wolf3D gameplay mod (v3.0 !!!)
I'm putting together a little map for this mod, Wiw: If you like it then feel free to try it out!
Re: Chris' WWII/Wolf3D gameplay mod (v4.0 available now)
Version 4.0: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6cyl5 ... j-wwii.zip
New weapon: Walther P38, a faster but less accurate pistol
Changes to what enemies drop and how much
Suppressed Luger now replaces standard Luger
Explosions no longer cause enemies to burst into flames
Re-handed Panzerfaust (thanks Captain J.)
New MP40 sprites (centered and angled)
Fixed a little glitch with the tiny flames and they now have a greater chance of dying

hey, that angled marty's MP40 actually worked. neat job on that! btw, have you thought about putting the title fonts at the title screen? that would be a good effort.

Re: Chris' WWII/Wolf3D gameplay mod (v4.0 available now)
Would it be possible to make a GZdoom version of this,i hate the fact thats its only for 3dge since i dont have a dreamcast.
Heck its kind of annoying when you are more used to 1 emulator then you see an interesting mod but its for another emulator, and the fact that its for the dreamcast make it even more complicated.
Its like some of WildWeasel mods, some of them use Edge, wich forced me to download the emulator,i must say i kinda prefer more Zdoom/GZdoom it has more option customizations.

3DGE has Windows builds, in case you missed it.Freaklore1 wrote:Would it be possible to make a GZdoom version of this,i hate the fact thats its only for 3dge since i dont have a dreamcast.

If I had a penny/cent for every time somebody asked me to port my mod(s) to GZDoom I would be a rich man. It is getting quite tiresome to be honest and makes me contemplate whether to retire or not. But not today. Today is a good day.

Well, it's the Zdoom forum, that's why. I mean, someone suggested a Gzdoom version for Smooth Doom, he thought it was Zdoom only.
Also people don't bother reading the previous pages, heh!

If I might be honest, I really don't mind that our Projects forum sometimes hosts projects for things other than ZDoom. Ours is a much bigger audience than that of the 3DGE forums, and probably much more accepting of gameplay mods than Doomworld (though Doomworld isn't really dismissive of gameplay mods, so much as apathetic, from my experience).VGA wrote:Well, it's the Zdoom forum, that's why.
Besides, if I were to put my foot down and say, "No non-ZDoom stuff," that'd disallow everything from Zandronum to Boom-compatible/limit-removing projects, maybe even GLOOME if you really wanted to get technical.

Just foe-list guys like them. Real handy device, I've got at least 50 people on it by now.CeeJay wrote:If I had a penny/cent for every time somebody asked me to port my mod(s) to GZDoom I would be a rich man. Don't let some morons ruin your fun- you do this for you, not for them.
Re: "Blitzkrieg!" Chris' WWII/Wolf3D gameplay mod (version 5
Mod has received something of a small face-lift.
New blood, gibs and shrapnel effects along with some other cool stuff
Two new enemies, one old was replaced (for the sake of variation and breaking the monotony)
Lots of balancing issues and polish
DW: https://www.mediafire.com/?2go6w18t3h3bgdq
Enjoy!
EDIT: Version 5.0b primarily fixes a level-breaking issue
