so...the extra live system has been added or it plays when the player died once? and alas for there's no dramatical slow-mo game over sequence.

now that's extra-lively RETROSPECTIVE! btw, i wonder what happens when everyone ran out of lives at coop play, though. is that happened before?

This is some neat stuff! Definitely adds a new level of challenge to the game.

The lives system will only apply to single player for now. If you want limited lives for co-op, you can do that with Zandronum's Survival mode.

Apologies for the double post, but I have another request.

Something I'd to request is GLDEFS for the projectiles, but I'm no big expert at it, so if I try it myself, the results would look pretty 'meh'. There's probably people here who could do fantastic effects with GLDEFS, more than I could do. If anyone contributes, I promise that I'll add them to the credits in the readme file for the next release.

there will be enemies that drop life as item or they will be put as replacement for soul sphere or mega sphere or will be gained when reached certain score?

You'll get an extra life at 20000 points, and then every 60000 points after that.

Also, to note! You don't receive score penalties while the limited lives system is enabled.

I could look into doing a GLDEFS for this. I've experimented with GLDEFS for years now so I think I'm a bit familiar with it.

EDIT: I can also try doing Brightmaps (by GLDEFS I assumed you meant dynamic lights), but it depends on if you want them or not. Fullbright has that classic game feel, but Brightmaps look cool.

EDIT2: It's done; sent you a PM. I haven't made brightmaps yet, but if you want them they'll be easy.

Excellent. Thanks for sending it in.

And yes, I meant dynamic lights, especially since Zandronum has them "on" by default (you need to load lights.pk3 separately for GZDoom, but Zandronum has them straight in its main pk3 file). I don't think I need Brightmaps for now. Thanks for the offer though.

I'll need someone to sprite the rifle in the first-person perspective. It's not a lot to work to do, though. I hope. It's literally a single image, and then two images for the muzzle flash.

Sorry for double posting again.

New release is out! Now you can't just die in Single Player over and over and over and over, because you now have limited lives! Although I've done my best with testing, I can't guarantee a bug free release.
