I can't say that I really liked this mod. For some reason, this is not what I expected (although I can't even say exactly what I expected); for me, there are too many things here, and I'm somewhat lost in it; somehow, even with more powerful weapons, I can't cope with the local monsters, although I don't play on high difficulty (usually I play on medium difficulty and do not experience any problems, so this is not my nature). Maybe I had a lot of bad luck, or maybe it was the fact that I was playing solo therefore it wasn't so much fun. Probably, I should play with this mod not alone, but with friends (it seems to me that then the first impressions would definitely be different from the current ones).
BUT, not the most positive impressions still do not say anything and I do not claim that the mod is bad and does not deserve attention. This is just a subjective assessment. Maybe, like I said, I should just play it with my friends, and get a better handle on it (what if I missed something?). And of course, I cannot underestimate the efforts of all those who worked on this project. It is very commendable that so many weapons, monsters, items, some optimizations and features are added, and it all looks organic and combines in technical terms - it does not bugging and does not give errors, although usually something can go wrong for me (or again, I was just unlucky). Well, a certain degree of randomness also still adds to the fun in an exceptionally good way. This is better than monotony and predictability, although it increases the complexity. Separately, I would like to note a couple of things: I really like the sounds and interface design. The health bar makes the game more convenient. And I also respect the decision to make hit detection which also makes the game more convenient, while making this function, as far as I know, is not so easy. I appreciate the efforts of the development team and I want to say thank you for this ambiguous, but still experience.
